8F has developed a global sustainable aquaculture strategy that focuses both on positive environmental and societal impacts, as well as attractive financial returns.
Today 8F is focused on the management of funds that own Pure Salmon, a global vertically integrated Atlantic Salmon farming and processing business.
Pure Salmon uses innovative and sustainable land-based Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology to produce clean, fresh, and healthy Atlantic Salmon locally for local consumers, without causing damage to the oceans
or transporting over long distances.
Pure Salmon’s fish is free of antibiotics, hormones, pesticides and microplastics.
With its clear and positive impact on the environment and customers’ health, and its capacity to fill the gap between worldwide demand and supply for healthy and efficient protein,
Pure Salmon is revolutionising the aquaculture industry.
In line with 8F’s Responsible Investment and Impact Policy, Pure Salmon is aligned with the following
UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Pure Salmon has the ambition to become the world’s largest sustainable Atlantic Salmon producer with a global production target of 260,000 tons p.a.
